Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is electricity and water included in the rates?
No. Monthly rate do not include utility bills (such as electricity and water). Transient rate includes free use of water and electricity.
2. Are the rates charge per head or per room?
The monthly rates are charged per head.
3. How transients are charged?
Transients are charged per room basis per night for all types of rooms. All lodging fees collected are VAT inclusive.
4. Can I make a reservation?
To make a reservation, we require one (1) month advance and upon moving in we require a two (2) months security deposit. Reservations are good only for three weeks (21 days) from the date of payment. To check for room availability, please contact us.
5. What if I wish to cancel my reservation?
Any withdrawal of reservations would result in the losing of one month advance deposit while security deposit may be return to the lodger.
6. Why do advance and two-month security deposit are required?
Upon check-in or registration, the one month advance payment is to be used as payment for the last month of stay. Furthermore, a security deposit is required as collateral for any damages that may incur in your room or for any unpaid bills upon check out.
7. The security deposit, is it refundable?
Yes. Security deposits are refunded in the form of checks after two (2) months or sixty (60) days. Lodger must submit a written notice to the Admin indicating the date of intended check-out.
8. Do you allow male and female to stay in one room?
No. There are separate quarters for male and female residents. The Management strictly prohibits male lodger to sleep or stay at the female quarters and vice versa. The room is to be used strictly for lodging purposes only.
9. Can I bring with me inside an appliance?
Yes. No additional charge if you bring in appliances. However, electric burners are not allowed inside the dormitory.
10. Do you allow pets?
Pets or any form of animals are not allowed at the Dorm.
11. Can I cook my food at the dorm?
Sorry, cooking of food inside your quarter is strictly prohibited for safety purposes. We only allow heating of food using microwave, toaster and/or rice cooker . 2470 Dominga Dormitory has a cafeteria at the ground floor that caters food and beverages at affordable prices. There is also a convenience store to satisfy your common needs.
12. Can I do laundry inside?
No. We do not have a laundry area in the dormitory. For your convenience, we can contact the laundry shop to pick-up and deliver your clothes for laundry.
13. Do you allow visitors?
Yes. You may meet your visitors at the lounge and they are not allowed to enter your room. Visiting hours are from 08:00 AM to 12:00 MN.
